At WB Jamieson, everyday is different. This is probably due to the many, and varying services and products we offer. Our Soft Furnishings department undertakes a wide range of projects, One day we could be out measuring up windows for curtains or blinds, fitting them or in the showroom forming a colour palette and a scheme with the client.
We decided to show what projects we are involved with, and a rough idea of what we are capable of and what a typical day (if ever there was one) might look like in the soft furnishings department at WB Jamieson. First things first, Coffee. We then check our emails and contact customers arranging appointments and making enquiries.
We meet with our clients in our Potterton, Aberdeen location where we guide them through our fabric library working within their restraints of colour, texture, budget etc.
Our unique service means that we can produce a plethora of designs to completely bespoke requirements. This often means we need to take measurements for things like curtains and blinds from the property they will be fitted in.
Our consultant will visit the client's property when suitable, to measure up for the construction of the final product.
Next our soft furnishings consultant will order the necessary fabrics and hardware from one of our many high quality and expert textile manufacturers and suppliers.Speaking with the seamstresses in our soft-furnishings department, we put together a plan of the projects which are underway and future projects which are yet to be measured or have fabric selections.
Our Seamstresses are experiences and skilled, they are capable of producing all manner of soft furnishings, and can be working in curtains, blinds, cushions and more from day to day which makes for a varied and exciting place to work.
Once our seamstresses have produced the final piece of work, it is checked over and wrapped up before being delivered and then fitted at the clients house.
The Soft Furnishing department is open 5 days a week and we have experts on hand who can help you through every step of the process, from concept to completion.
